Le Plus de La Fleur de Boüard 2018 is 100% Merlot, made from old vines, harvested at a yield of 20 hl/ha. It has a very expressive, elegant nose of smoky cherry fruit wrapped in ribbons of cinnamon and praline oak. The palate is fresh, broad and at first quite bold and punchy, but in the middle it softens and broadens to reveal a profusion of ripe fruit, coated in delicately spicy oak.
